Turquoise water. Towering palms. Calm breezes. You are standing on the bow of a flats boat stripping your Clouser Minnow as you try to hook into the greatest sport fish the fly-fishing world has ever known. Islamorada provides the opportunity to catch multiple tarpon each day as our guests pursue both resident and migratory fish during peak season in May and June.

Islamorada is one of the greatest places to fish for “silver kings” on the planet, and it is right in our backyard. Long days on the water are matched with lunch on the flats and an ice-cold Corona back on the dock. Exhaustion never felt so good as you relive your experience and sheepishly laugh, recalling your guide yelling at you to follow his instructions—usually with some colorful language! This is a trip that is invigorating, relaxing, and fatiguing all at the same time. Few trips will allow you to test your mettle with a 150-pound fish and provide stories that will be shared among your group for years to come.  

Four days is likely all you can handle on a trip like this. This is an adventure that will leave you wanting more, though you know you probably couldn’t handle it if you got it.
